| This homely and compact bungalow is set in the Hamstead
Heritage Coast - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are located
along the north-west coast of the Isle of Wight, amongst a wealth of countryside
and a network of small farms.
It is within easy reach of the nearby sailing Mecca of Cowes (a 10
minute drive). The Isle of Wight Coastal Path leads past the gate and
down to Thorness Bay - only a few minutes walk away. |
 |
| There are a variety of fossils to be found along the
beach - including those of turtles and crocodiles.
At low tide, rock pools reveal shrimps, winkles and
crabs, and the stretches of sand allow paddling.
The salt marshes and reed beds offer a haven for a
wide variety of birds. |
| South Thorness Farm is home to the owners as well, and someone is usually
around to offer advice and information to help you make the best of your
holiday. |
